What’s This?

Hello! You are reading our online magazine, “English, Actually.” We are students of English in Rome, Italy and this is our forum.

We’re starting our new academic year.  So come and join us. It doesn’t matter where you are or what your level of English is.

This Week: we’re talking about our Favourite Photos. Click on “Photos” at the top of this page to find out more.

Next Week: we’ll be adding Guides to Local Areas of Rome. Daniele has already written about Prati, the district beyond Castel Sant’Angelo.

How to write for our magazine:

1. Go to the bottom of any page.
2. Click the box below “Now You Write”.
3. Write your text.
4. Insert your email address (never made public) and your name.
5. Click “Post Comment” – and you’re done! NB for first-time writers: your comment goes to the Editor for approval, usually within a few hours, and will then appear.

Never worry about making mistakes in English. It’s much more important to express yourself freely.  The editor will help you by inserting corrections to common errors.

Explore our magazine and see what other people have written.
