Because of my job I don’t have much free time, even having to finish a phd.
Anymay, when I don’t do all of this, when I free, I like to keep myself in some kind of shape, I like swimming or kayaking, especially at lake. I am a fan of comics, especially Corto Maltese, and watches and I love to keep up to date, it is not possible to buy something, at least, not all the time. I also love the story about the watches in the movie, for example in Apocalypse Now Martin Sheen play the Captain Willard and use a Seiko diver, and now this watch is better known like The captain Willard.

Nice story – check the mistakes especially the 3rd person singular of the verb in the present simple.
About watches: I once saw a watch described in the Financial Times as costing €800,000! You could buy a very nice house for that. It’s crazy – I think €200 is my limit for a watch!

Hello everyone,
I have no favorites days of the week. Twentyfour hours is a piece of time too brief to be loved or hated.
Instead, speaking about seasons I prefere for sure spring and summer. I eventually like the sun and the good weather maybe because I come from Sicily. Unfortunately since I’ve lived in Milan I miss sun, arm and sea.
I like period of time like Christmas because I’ve the chance to see my family and my friends in Sicily but I do not really like New Year’s when everybody are obliged to have fun going around looking for boring parties.

My favourite time is the summer season because I really like hot weather, high temperatures and enjoying outside activities. Especially I love swimming in the sea and chilling time in the beach.
O course I really like this season also because I usually go on holiday to Sicily, my “native land”. I usually go to Augusta, a city located between Catania and Siracusa. In Augusta I have part of my family and I usually stay with them in a countryside house very close to the sea.
The best moment of a sicily’s summer day is defintely the sunshine. Whether you stay in the countryside, in the sea or in the city, the sky seems like an amazing coloured painting.

The famous celebration that takes place every year in September in Viterbo is the ” Holy Rosa fest”. This event represents the celebration of the patron of the town and it’s majestic and magnificent. The “Holy Rosa fest” is organized in the Viterbo’s streets and it consists of trasfering a huge and high tower along the centre of the town until the church dedicated to the patron. This tower is brought by one hundred men who train and drill every year to face up the tiresome tour. The tower is well-decorated with a lot of bas-reliefs which show the history and the life’s scenes of the Saint celebrated. Moreover this monument is rich of candles scattered on all the tower and light up not only all of it, but also the statue of the holy Rose situated on the top. All the people from Viterbo join this traditional event and follow the tower during the path, walking along the streets of the town or watching it from their balconies.

“Traditional festival around Rome”
One of events that take place in Lazio is “the strawberry festival ” in the picturesque village of Nemi. Nemi is an enchanting village in Lazio, it’s located not far from Rome and together with other towns that are nearby, they are called “roman castles”.
This event takes place every year since 1922, between the end of may and ends in early june.
The festival is know as the “sagra delle fragole” as the word “sagra” in Italy is mixes various religious, culinary and historical traditions of the place .
This event takes place in Nemi because of the characteristics of the soil of volcanic origin and thanks to the mild and sunny climate, a strawberry of excellent quality is produced .
Throughout the period of the event in the historic center of the town we find stalls selling strawberries or food products made with strawberry, such as the famous “fragolino” liqueur or shortcrust pastry filled with custard and wild strawberries.
Moreover all the restaurants create menus of dishes paying homage to the precious red fruit.
Going to Nemi on the day of the event we can meet girls dressed in traditional costumes typical of the area of the roman castles, with redundant hats carrying wicker baskets full of strawberries. These girl pay homage to the historical figure called “fragolara”, that is the girls who once they went to pick strawberries in the neighborhood . At the festival these girls offer visitors strawberries to eat.
Every year they elect as if it were a beauty contest, “the fragolara of the year”.
I recommend everyone to go there both for the event, and for the culinary aspect and above all to get to know this magnificent village .

I would like going to Trieste when Barcolana takes place. This festival is international saling race that all type of saling boat can participate.
Barcolana race has taken places second Sunday of october since 1969. Many saling boats have to do a set course of 15 miles, this race starts ends at Trieste. It realy famuos race because professional and non-professional sailors can participate. On occasion of the 50th edition in 2018 it officially entered the Guinness Book of Records as the “Largest Sailing Race”, the largest sailing race in the world, thanks to the 2689 registered boats.

“The last time you had a really good meal in a restaurant”
In recent months I have not had the opportunity to go out to eat very often due to the covid emergency which has reduced opening hours and many restaurants have remained closed, but a very welcoming place, where you eat well and don’t spend much is the restaurant
“Sugo”. The name of the restaurant describes the characteristics of the dishes, which are all based on tomato sauce and there is no shortage of culinary products typical of Italian cuisine.
I’ve been to this place with a small group of friends and none of us had eaten there before.
When we arrived we immediately liked this very familiar and youthful environment, the very colorful location with red and white checkered tablecloths, ceramic tiles with portuguese decorations attached to the walls.
The very friendly and efficient staff welcomed us very well and the service was very fast despite having the place almost full.
The main dish I ordered and which has remained in my heart was “Ravioloni with burrata”, a homemade pasta stuffed inside with a typical Apulian cheese and seasoned with an excellent tomato sauce.
The other dishes ordered by my friends were also of excellent quality. Definitely, I will return to this place soon.

Hi Michael, how are you?
I tell you about my favorite festival. This is the Summer Festival and it was created a few years ago (in 2013) by Maria de Filippi.
It starts from Thursday to Saturday of the last week of June in Piazza del Popolo (Rome),but this year it did’t starts because of Covid-19 and it was in Milan.
During the festival there are musicians that they sing their song and there are different kind of music like: classical music, hip-pop, rap, commercial music and much more.
This is a possibility for emergent singer to arrive at a lot of audience in fact thanks to Summer Festival you can know a lot of singer that you don’t know the existence!
At the Summer Festival usually came 20000 people.
It is famous thanks to the sponsors like Coca-cola , Wind ( a cellular company), RTL 102.5 and Radio 105 ( a famous Italians radios).
I went to the summer festival the last years and it was fantastic! In this place my favorite singers sang and my girlfriend and me were very excited.
The next years I will go to Milan to hear the Festival!

I want to tell you about my favourite season and day : well!
My favourite time of the day is early in the morning because sun get up and start every tinghs , but thereisn’t a favourite day of the week for me, since every day is a good day for my job or freetime , I can’t sleep too long in the morning because at six o’ clok I go out with my dog at the Caffarella’s park and after work. I like March, it’s my birthday month and the spring starts in that period.
I love every season because they have different quality: Winter have snow , Spring have a lot of flowars, Summer is sunny and I can too swimm in the sea, at the Autumn there are beautifull colours, mushrooms came out and the grapes are ripe.
My favourite Public Holiday is Pasqua , much people eating chocolate (I love chocolate) and make pic nic with their relatives and friends on the green lawn.

I have two favorite times of the day. I like especially mornings and evenings. In the morning (until approx. 12:00 hours) I like working and studying, reading science books, however in the evening (from 20:00 hours) I enjoy listening to music and watching films on TV. I can also talk with my wife calmly, because the children are asleep already.
My favorite days of the week are Saturday and Sunday. I can sleep longer then. Usually these are free days for me and I can spend them with my family. We have time for a walk together, going to the cinema and having fun with the kids.
I have two favorite months: April and May, because it is then spring. It’s warm, but not too much. Everything wakes up to life. It is sunny and green. There are also plenty of flowers. In April there are as well my birthday ☺
My favorite season is spring and summer, because it is sunny. Summer is a time of holidays and relaxation. I don’t like autumn and winter, because in my country it is then really depressing weather.
My favorite public holiday is Easter and Christmas. In Poland we have wonderful traditions on this occasion, especially for Christmas. We are decorating our houses, preparing special dishes and singing beautiful carols together. This is also the time for special gifts that we put under the Christmas tree.

In the Italy the week after the first january,is the week depressing of the year.why? because the holidays christmas are finish, and it starts working again.
People are sad because the days are short and very often it rains. The most beautiful day is August 15th because people are on vacation, the days are full of sunshine and you can relax.
The beautiful days will last for a few weeks. Then autumn will come ..

I’m Serena and i would like to explain you my favourite times and then I would like to know yours, simply for an online conversation instead during English’s lesson too.
I love Monday a lot, because is the first week’s day and finally my children go to school, after the week-end’s stop lesson. It’s the time dedicated to myself and my programs that I love to do.
Inside every day, I love the tea time, every afternoon so, when my husband came back from work, we can drink it together.
My favorite month is April when finally I’ll go out with my bicycle and makes a lot of kilometer helped by a warm sun and to see the Nature’s color awakes from winter.
Anyway, i love Spring and his new color!
Probably, i like Christmas time. In Italy, everyone makes a nativity scene, by live or doing an elaborated cribs. Also, I like Christmas Tree because represents the gift’s time with more presents to enjoy.
